LAWLER AND COMPANY IS A FULL SURVICE PROFESSIONAL LAND SURVEYING AND MAPPING FIRM LOCATED IN MOBILE, ALABAMA SERVING THE NORTHERN GULF STATES FROM FLORIDA TO LOUISIANA. WE PROVIDE QUALITY PROFESSIONAL MAPPING SERVICES TO THE INDIVIDUAL, COMMUNITY, GOVERNMENT AND INDUSTRIAL SECTORS.

W. J. Lawler, Jr., established Lawler and Company in 1978 in Thomasville, Alabama. The firm provided boundary line, subdivision and topographic services in Clarke, Marengo, Choctaw and Wilcox Counties in West central Alabama.

In 1979 Lawler and Company moved their office to Mobile, Alabama and provided boundary and topographic services for the Mobile and Baldwin County area while maintaining a strong professional presence in the Thomasville area.

In 1983, Lawler and Company was awarded a contract with the U.S. Army Engineer District, Mobile, Alabama in support of the PIECES program established to monitor the inland waterways of the Mobile District. From 1983 through 1991, we provided hydrographic and topographic mapping of the Tenn-Tom, Black Warrior-Tombigbee, Alabama and Chattahoochee River systems using Range-Azimuth real time hydrographic survey systems and electronic total stations.

While continuing to provide a full suite of surveying services to the private sector, Lawler and Company has developed a strong reputation with the industrial community. We routinely provide ALTA\ACSM as-built surveys of industrial sites including chemical plants and paper mills. We provide hydrographic surveys for port facilities, shipping companies, industrial plants and commercial developments as well as construction surveying for any size project.

We are able to provide up to 5 field crews outfitted with the latest technology, including GPS, (static, RTK & DGPS) and reflectorless total stations and 2 hydrographic crews. Lawler and Company provides final surveys in Microstation or Autocadd format and routinely generates cut and fill quantities for construction projects.
